Deck Studio – Hire Terms & Conditions

  • All equipment and props remain the property of Deck Studio at all times.
  • Full payment is required prior to collection or delivery.
  • A refundable hire deposit may be required.
  • Deposits will be returned in full provided items are returned on time, complete, and undamaged.
  • Where items are missing or damaged, repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the deposit. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit/debit card.
  • The hirer is responsible for the care and insurance of all items from the time of collection or delivery until they are returned to Deck Studio.
  • Any queries, discrepancies, or issues with hired items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
  • All items are supplied clean and ready for use.
  • Items returned excessively dirty or requiring additional cleaning (including wax, paint, adhesives, florals, food residue, or similar) may incur a cleaning fee of up to 50% of the hire charge, depending on the work required.
  • All items will be checked upon return. Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.
  • Customer-owned items cannot be accepted as replacements.
  • Hire prices are based on a 4-day hire period (Thursday-Monday) unless otherwise agreed.
  • Prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
  • Late returns will be subject to additional hire charges.
  • Extended hire periods are available by prior arrangement and may incur additional fees.
  • All boxes, crates, and packaging supplied must be returned clean, dry, and in good condition. Missing or damaged packaging will be charged at replacement cost.
  • Deck Studio accepts no liability for injury, damage to persons or property, loss of profit, event disruption, or any consequential loss arising from the hire, delivery delays, non-delivery, or use of hired items.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the hire date will be charged at 50% of the total hire fee.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the hire date will be charged at 100% of the hire fee.
  • Deck Studio reserves the right to amend prices without prior notice.
  • Deck Studio does not provide insurance cover, risk assessments, method statements, or compliance documentation unless agreed in writing.
  • Any refunds issued may be subject to an administration fee.

1. Select your item

  • Browse through our collection and choose the item you'd like to try on.
  • Once you've found the perfect piece, simply click on the "Book Try-On Appointment" button to proceed.

2. Choose a Try-On date

  • After selecting your item, you'll be asked to pick a date and time for your try-on appointment at our store

Please note: The item will be free at checkout for try-on purposes only. You are not required to make any payment for the item at this stage.

3. Enter your details at checkout

  • Fill in your name, phone number or email address to confirm your booking. We will send you an appointment confirmation with all the details of your visit.

4. Receive appointment reminders

  • To help you remember, we'll send you a reminder 24 hours before your scheduled appointment

5. Visit Us at the Store

  • On the day of your appointment, simply come to our store at your selected time.
  • Our staff will have the item ready for you to try on and assist you with anything you need.

Q&A:

1. What happens if I decide to rent in the store?

If you love the item and decide to rent it, you can complete your rental agreement in-store. If it's not quite right, you're under no obligation to rent, and you can simply leave without any cost.

2. Can I reschedule or cancel the appointment?

If you need to change your appointment or can't make it, don't worry! You can reschedule or cancel directly via our email. Just give us a heads-up, and we'll help you find a new time.

Please note that all items may show signs of wear and previous use. These are hire items and are not brand new.
