Deck Studio – Hire Terms & Conditions

All equipment and props remain the property of DECK Studio at all times.

Full payment is required prior to collection or delivery.

A refundable hire deposit may be required.

Deposits will be returned in full provided items are returned on time, complete, and undamaged.

Where items are missing or damaged, repair or replacement costs will be deducted from the deposit. Any remaining balance will be refunded.

Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit/debit card.

The hirer is responsible for the care and insurance of all items from the time of collection or delivery until they are returned to Deck Studio.

Any queries, discrepancies, or issues with hired items must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

All items are supplied clean and ready for use.

Items returned excessively dirty or requiring additional cleaning (including wax, paint, adhesives, florals, food residue, or similar) may incur a cleaning fee of up to 50% of the hire charge, depending on the work required.

All items will be checked upon return. Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.

Customer-owned items cannot be accepted as replacements.

Hire prices are based on a 4-day hire period (Thursday-Monday) unless otherwise agreed.

Prices are subject to VAT where applicable.

Late returns will be subject to additional hire charges.

Extended hire periods are available by prior arrangement and may incur additional fees.

All boxes, crates, and packaging supplied must be returned clean, dry, and in good condition. Missing or damaged packaging will be charged at replacement cost.

Deck Studio accepts no liability for injury, damage to persons or property, loss of profit, event disruption, or any consequential loss arising from the hire, delivery delays, non-delivery, or use of hired items.

Cancellations within 48 hours of the hire date will be charged at 50% of the total hire fee.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the hire date will be charged at 100% of the hire fee.

Deck Studio reserves the right to amend prices without prior notice.

Deck Studio does not provide insurance cover, risk assessments, method statements, or compliance documentation unless agreed in writing.

Any refunds issued may be subject to an administration fee.
